Devin Carter, an associate with the firm, was drawn to the practice of law because of the opportunities it provides for helping people, and he treats each case as an opportunity to help people with their unique set of problems. Since joining David, Kamp & Frank, Devin has worked in numerous areas of practice, including landlord-tenant matters, contract disputes, domestic relations, real estate disputes, and personal injury. Devin is always eager to engage with his clients and to work alongside them in pursuit of a favorable and just outcome.

Devin is a native of Jacksonville, Alabama. He graduated from Jacksonville High School and attended Jacksonville State University where he received his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science. He then received a master’s degree in History from Jacksonville State. It was his passion for history that brought Devin to William & Mary Law School, from which he graduated in 2023. During his time at William & Mary, Devin worked as an intern at the Office of the Public Defender in Portsmouth, which enabled him to acquire litigation experience and instilled within him a passion for advocating for clients in court.
